The registration consists of four letters, followed by two numerals.
At the top of the plate is MAINE in black capitals and at the bottom is the slogan Vacationland in black.
The background shows a tree line at the bottom and at the left a chickadee bird on a pine cone.
In the upper and lower right corners are month and year revalidation stickers (March 2006).
